Heading up North

Solley's are once again heading to the Ice Cream Alliance Show in Harrogate the venue at which last year they won two key awards for their Real Dairy Ice Cream from the most difficult of audiences - their peers. The three day conference and exhibition looks at key aspects of the industry and the attendance comes on the back of a recent significant investment in new machinery and equipment for the Dairy based Ice Cream producer.

"We hope to repeat our awards success last year and head North with our fingers crossed for yet more awards success," said Stephen Solley, MD of Solley's Ice Cream, "what really matters though is what our customers think and as our sales continue to grow it would appear we are doing okay by our customers too."

Red Tractor Approval for Solley's Real Dairy Ice Cream

Solley's is really on a roll, we are proud to announce that we are the first ice cream producer in Kent to be allowed to show the Red Tractor Farm Assured Logo on all of our packaging. This means that consumers know our milk is sourced locally from known farms, where animal welfare and the environment is to the very highest standard and this ensures that when we claim to make Kentish Ice Cream it is true in every way. This means that consumers and wholesalers can buy an award winning product of the highest quality from Solley's Real Dairy Ice Cream Ltd.

Bumper Show at Leeds Castle

Solley's Ice cream proved a great success at Leeds Castle, the most beautiful Castle in the world - when they held their annual Jousting Tournament during May half-term. Sales over the 5 days were brisk with the old family favourites proving to be the popular flavours, vanilla, strawbery, chocolate and mint choc chip. A new favourite was shown to be our award winning coffee and cream and toffee and butterscotch was a winner through out the week. mmmmm.

1971 and still going strong

Solley's Farms have a new member of the team in the shape of a beautiful and very original Bedford Morrison Ice Cream Van - it even has the jingles we all remember from our childhood. The van has been carefully and thoughtfully restored where work was needed and had its first outing at Fowlmead Country Park in Kent. The weather was a wee bit poor, but a lovely venue and the van performed well. If you want the Morrison at one of your events please contact us at the Dairy on 01304 314100.

Bubblegumlicious.

If you are of the generation which remembers Bazooka Bubblegum then we have the flavour for you. Here at Solley's Ice Cream we don't like the artificial flavours and colours that others use and we don't like the bright blue bubblegum flavoured ice cream others sell. But our soft pink Bubblegum has yet to fail to bring a smile to the face of the taster and it is a blast back to the past and Bazooka Bubblegum. Available in most of the size ranges it is a sure fire hit for the summer. Bubblegumlicious!!!!
